MASTERS FENCING at ALBANY last weekend.

It really was fantastic to get out of the city and down to friendly Albany for a very pleasant weekend.

There were eight entries for foil, three for sabre and four for epee - with a very small rent-a-crowd! The competition and atmosphere was very pleasant and the venue excellent. Enjoyed by all. We met as a group for one or two restaurant occasions. Other than that, the families took the opportunity to have a bit of a holiday.

Hopefully there will be positive press coverage in the Albany newspapers this week.

The Great Southern Duel will be held in Albany in June. As a result of our good experience, we suggest you seriously consider going down for it giving yourself plenty of time to be organised. Book accommodation very soon, as there will be lots on in Albany at that time.
