More than 100 fencers and guests arrived fully costumed at the Parmelia Swan Room on 16th July to celebrate Cavs 50th Anniversary with a Masque Ball. Such a grand presentation was never before seen at a Cavs event.

From children to adults, our characters emerged from an 1800's time zone with hero's, warriors and fair maids mixing alike with pompous upper crust and aristocracy. Excellent food and dancing for all added to the excitement of the evening.

A presentation of the history of our club was completed with a souvenir booklet and the personal memories of some of the original members who were present.

Congratulations to the organisers and each of the guests who went out of their way to guarantee the success of this memorable occasion.
